Frequently Asked Questions

Online booking is a great way to schedule an appointment with us. We are therapist owned and run, and we don't always have a receptionist in the office. To avoid phone tag, or if you are craving a massage or facial at 2 in the morning, just click on our online booking link here. Please note that we may call you after you book to slightly shift your start time. This is to maximize scheduling efficiency for our therapists.

For those who aren’t sure what to choose, the Signature massage or facial is a good place to start. For IV hydration therapy, choose the New Client Special or Essential Drip under the Wellness tab.

IV (intravenous) therapy delivers fluids, electrolytes, vitamins and other nutrients directly into your bloodstream through a small catheter placed in a vein. This method ensures rapid hydration and maximum absorption - much faster and more effective than drinking fluids alone. Digestive tract issues are widespread these days, and IV therapy bypasses this problem by making nutrients directly available to cells.

Once you schedule, you will be contacted by our medical director to complete a brief health intake. This will determine whether you are a good candidate for IV therapy, and any potential contraindications. When you arrive at our spa, you will sign a consent and our registered nurse will help you select the right formulation and answer any questions that you might have. You will be welcomed into a comfortable chair and made at home. Your vitals will be taken, an IV will be started on your arm, and your personalized drip will be started. Sessions typically last about 45–60 minutes (some drips may take longer, such as NAD+).

A medical professional such as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner will be administering your treatment. They follow aseptic technique and strict medical protocols to ensure each client’s safety and well-being.

Formulations vary by goal, but common options include normal saline, electrolytes, immune support (vitamin C, zinc), energy blends (B-complex), recovery/performance minerals (magnesium), and antioxidants like glutathione – sourced through reputable pharmacies. Some specialty formulations also include anti-nausea or anti-inflammatory medications. Your provider will tailor ingredients and dosing to your intake, goals, and health history. See some of our IV options here.

Many people feel benefits - like renewed hydration or energy - almost immediately. Depending on the formulation, you may also experience a reduction in pain, nausea, and cold/flu symptoms. Effects can last from several days to a week, influenced by your overall health, sleep, stress, and lifestyle.

It depends on your goals and health status. Some come when needed, such before or after illness or travel, or during particularly busy or stressful weeks. Others prefer a more regular schedule. We’ll help create a safe, personalized plan just for you. Click here to learn about our membership options.

Some people experience mild bruising, tenderness, or warmth at the insertion site. Rarely, infections or electrolyte imbalances can occur – especially in individuals with underlying conditions. We use aseptic technique, review your full health history, and check in regularly during your treatment to keep you safe.

Hydrate, have a small snack, wear loose sleeves or a t-shirt, and bring a list of medications/allergies. Let us know if you’ve been ill or are experiencing any new symptoms.

We do not accept  insurance for our services, but we can take HSA and FSA cards as payment. Please note that it is often required to have a valid prescription from a health care provider to use this form of payment.

Drips deliver fluids + nutrients directly into the bloodstream over 30–60 minutes and require an IV catheter to be placed in your vein. IM shots (like B-12 or glutathione) are quick injections without fluids. We can recommend one or both based on your goals.

Keep the bandage on for an hour, avoid heavy lifting with that arm for the rest of the day, and continue to hydrate. Contact us if you notice increasing redness, warmth, pain, fever, or swelling at the IV site, or if you have any questions at all.

Removing everything is the optimal way to receive a massage -- especially if you want relief in the lower back or hips. Some treatment techniques, including myofascial, require skin-on-skin for maximum effect. Our therapists will professionally drape you with a sheet and only uncover the area being worked on. You’ll have the massage room to yourself to change and prepare for the session, so you'll have plenty of privacy. That said, your comfort is our goal. If you feel more comfortable leaving underwear on, that is fine too. Thai Yoga Massage is done fully clothed -- please wear or bring loose comfortable clothing, similar to what you would wear at yoga or the gym.

Just as for a massage, you will have time to privately undress and slip onto our heated table under sheets and blankets. You are welcome to change into a spa wrap before getting on the table, although many of our clients dispense with the additional bulk. Our esthetician will protect your hair with a terry cloth headband during your treatment (although you will probably notice your hair will be shiny and slightly mussed after a facial).

Yes, please arrive without makeup if possible. You are welcome to use the mirror in the treatment room or restroom to reapply makeup and fix your hair after your facial. That said, many of our clients appreciate that…voluminized and tousled look after receiving a service at the spa. Nothing says relaxation like wild hair and a glazed expression!

Inflammation is the number one cause of aging in the cells of our skin.  To support a philosophy of calm, soothing repair, our estheticians use gentle yet effective techniques to achieve your skin care goals.  Sometimes chemical peels or extracting clogged pores can leave the skin tender but this is done early in the facial followed by skin soothing products and protocols.  Sometimes, skin reacts with redness and tenderness after your get home, despite all efforts to keep it calm. It is important to wear sunscreen after a facial to protect the newer, fresher skin revealed after a service. We are always available for follow up skin care tips and advice.
